OBJECTIVE: Students will identify which forms of the verb “ser” agree with subject pronouns.

METHODOLOGY: Begin discussion of Gramatica 2—present tense of verb “ser.” Students must take excellent notes of conjugation. Students construct two sentences for each form of the verb “ser” and translate to English.

DIFFERENTIATION: Echo reading; choral reading; color-coding; mnemonic devices for memory strategy; explicit modeling of item structure; use of notes/visual aides; use of verb chart; task completion with partners.

ASSESSMENT: Observe student participation.
