Dear Parents/Guardians of _______________________________________,

Your student has been assigned summer school due to a deficiency in one or more of his or her core academic subjects. Summer school will operate from Tuesday, June 6, 2017 to Friday, June 30, 2017 and we will be offering credit recovery classes in English and History. The class will be taught in rooms 8 and 9 under the supervision of credentialed teachers. Your student has been assigned the following class(es): _____________________________________________________________________________.

Linden High School will utilize the Cyber High online program for students to recover their credits. Cyber High charges $100 for a semester course. Each student and his or her family will be responsible for paying the cost of each semester course they take through Cyber High. See the attached form regarding payment. Please make checks payable to Linden High School. Any unpaid balances will be added to the fees list and will be mailed out with registration packets. This is an excellent opportunity for your student to regain credits and stay on track to earn a high school diploma from Linden High School. Students who remain credit deficient will be recommended to attend Pride Continuation High School.

Linden Unified will be providing limited transportation to and from summer school. Please see the attached form regarding transportation.

Tuesday, June 6, 2017 to Friday, June 30, 2017

Start Time: 8:00AM

Lunch Break: 11:00AM – 11:30AM

End of School: 12:30PM

Su estudiante ha sido asignado escuela de verano por deficiencia en una o más de sus materias académicas. Escuela de verano comenzará el martes 6 de junio y terminara el viernes 30 de junio, 2017. Estaremos ofreciendo las materias de Ingles e Historia para conseguir los créditos. La clase se dará en el salón 8 y 9 con la supervisión de maestros acreditados.
