The public is invited to visit the organization’s new facility and learn more about the group’s mission. Project 150 Reno is a nonprofit providing Northern Nevada’s homeless, displaced or disadvantaged high school students important basic needs so that students can focus their efforts on staying in school and graduating.The Bridge Church at 1330 Foster Drive, Reno NV, has partnered with Project 150 Reno allowing the group to use a house on the property that once served as the parsonage.The church’s Pastor, Bill West, explains, “We have been supporting Project 150 for several years now and are excited to have them use our facilities. We believe they are making a huge difference in the lives of many high school students and in our community at large. We sincerely hope that more people and organizations will join them as they invest in the lives of students who matter so much.”Project 150 is a nonprofit organization that started in Las Vegas in December 2011 when a television station featured a story of 150 homeless students at Rancho High School. Since then, Project 150 has grown to an organization that supports homeless, displaced and disadvantaged kids in 38 high schools in Clark County.Project 150 Reno came into existence when a local businesswoman attended a Project 150 shopping day in Las Vegas. So moved by the experience, she volunteered to spearhead efforts to establish Project 150 Reno.
