ALL PROJECTS MUST be emailed to jmcnerney@Project Choices Some things to keep in mind ? It should be linked to history. ? Your project must be done neatly and with care. ? It should include a substantial amount of historical information, including things we did not learn about in class. ? Have fun with it! Project ChoicesIllustrated Timeline: Choose a certain era of history or major events. Illustrate (you can use any computer program or draw) a timeline in a creative fashion and include detailed descriptions of the event. Illustrations can be scanned in to create an electronic timeline (Prezi might be a good option) or put on a poster board! Be as creative as possible.Era Time Capsule: Choose an era in history (i.e. 20s, 60s, 80s) and make that era come alive through artifacts! For example, wear the clothing of the era and do a fashion show, bring in the fads, popular toys, technology of the era. Include information on sports, medicine, Hollywood, music, etc. You can create your capsule on google slides or power point. Whatever you are comfortable with.Historical Figure Textbook- Create a US History yearbook reviewing the characters and events from United States history, including important information about many important figures from history. Be creative! Look at your own yearbook for ideas! Maybe you have a “Best Dressed” category or “Women’s Heroes” or “Class Officers.” And you know how people sign yearbooks and write little notes?? – do that and BE CREATIVE! Your Top 10: You are to create a Top 10 list of the most important events that have occurred during your lifetime. This would be the period from 2004-2020. You may select any events except the following: ● Celebrity News (Kodak Black only getting 364 days in jail or Beyoncé? being pregnant with wins do not qualify.)Each event should include some sort of visual, an explanation of the event, and your rationale as to why it falls in the top 10. How you present your findings should be CREATIVE!!! Draw My/Their Life/Event: Do you like to draw?! Then this might be the project for you. Choose a character or event and give us clues to see if we can guess who or what you’re talking about. CREATING YOUR OWN POWERPOINT?You will be creating your own PowerPoint. You will be teaching the class about a topic that we learned this year. For example: (American Revolution, Jim Crow Laws, Louisiana Purchase) The PowerPoint must be realistic and appropriate for school. You must do research in order to determine what actually happened during this time period.? All of your information will be presented in a PowerPoint presentation. CREATE YOUR OWN NEWSCAST??“This was the day that was!” or “In the news today………”Choose an event that we learned about this year and make a newscast presentation delivering the information about the event. Watch the news a few times to get an idea of how it is supposed to look. You will create a video, remember to be professional because you a depicting a real-life newscast. Remember this video is supposed to be informative in nature and can be used to teach students about U.S. History and how it pertains to high school students. ................
