Two hundred twenty-five soldiers from the 23rd Brigade Engineer Battalion and 2-3 Infantry Battalion based out of Joint Base Lewis-McChord are deployed in support of the Dixie Fire.
Two MAFFS from the 302nd Airlift Wing (Colorado Air Force Reserve), one MAFFS from the 153rd Airlift Wing (Wyoming Air National Guard) and one from the 146th Airlift Wing (California Air National Guard) have been deployed to McClellan, CA to support wildland fire operations nationally.
One RC-26 aircraft with Distributed Real-Time Infrared (DRTI) capability and support personnel from the 141st Air Refueling Wing (Washington Air National Guard) and one RC-26 aircraft with Distributed Real-Time Infrared (DRTI) capability and support personnel from the 162nd Operations Group (Arizona Air National Guard) have been deployed to Sacramento, CA in support of wildland fire operations. Also supporting these aircraft are eight ground controllers from multiple U.S. Air National Guard squadrons.

Dixie, Butte Unit, Cal Fire. IMT 2 (RM Team Black) and IMT 2 (SA Gold Team). Fifteen miles northeast of Paradise, CA. Timber and brush. Moderate fire behavior with smoldering, backing and creeping. Area, road and trail closures in effect.
River Complex, Klamath NF, USFS. IMT 2 (CA Team 15). Nine miles southwest of Etna, CA. Timber and brush. Moderate fire behavior with single tree torching, backing and flanking. Several communities, numerous structures and infrastructure threatened. Evacuations, area, road and trail closures in effect.
Monument, Shasta-Trinity NF, USFS. IMT 1 (SA Red Team). One mile southwest of Del Loma, CA. Timber and brush. Moderate fire behavior with flanking, backing and isolated torching. McCash, Six Rivers NF, USFS. IMT 1 (AK Team 1). Fourteen miles northeast of Somes Bar, CA. Timber, closed timber litter and brush. Moderate fire behavior with backing, creeping and single tree torching. Numerous structures threatened. Evacuations, area, road and trail closures in effect.
