Quotes from Mein Kampf:

As a young man, Hitler professed this recipe for securing political power.

“I achieved an equal understanding of the importance of physical terror

toward the individual and the masses. . . . Terror at the place of employment, in the factory, in the meeting hall, and on the occasion of mass demonstrations will always be successful unless opposed by equal terror.”

As a leader, Hitler promised the German people he would recover lands lost after World War I.

“We must clearly recognize the fact that the recovery of the lost territories is not won through solemn appeals of the Lord or through pious hopes in a League of Nation, but only by force of arms.”
