Jefferson Township Public Schools

At 10, boys were initiated into the Junvokk. At 14 they enter the HJ (Hitler Jugend) or Hitler Youth. Girls joined the Jungmaedel and the BDM (The Bund Deutscher Maedel) or the League of German Girls. Numbers of boys and girls aged between 10-18 in the various Nazi youth movements increased from around 200,000 in 1932 to over 7 million in 1938. ................
