Q: When is 2018 Benefits Open Enrollment? A: 2018 Benefits Open Enrollment will take place Wednesday, November 1- Friday, November 17 for team members at Legacy Meridian Health, Raritan Bay Medical Center and Hackensack University Medical Center.

Team members at Palisades Medical Center and The Harborage will enroll in December.

Q: What is changing for 2018? A: There are some exciting enhancements to your benefits for 2018. Key changes for all team members include introducing:

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield as our network-wide carrier for our medical, dental and vision plans;

OptumRx as our network-wide carrier for our prescription drug plan; and, The new website to provide access to benefits and enrollment

resources for all legacy organizations.

These changes are designed to better serve team members and move us toward a more integrated approach to benefits and Total Rewards.

Q: What is not changing for 2018? A: There are no changes to our current benefit plan designs for 2018 (co-pays, deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, etc., will remain unchanged). Additionally, we are pleased to announce that team member benefit plan rates will generally remain flat (or only increase slightly) for the 2018 plan year.

Q: What will the change to Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield mean to me? A: Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield offers a broad, comprehensive provider network that includes most, but not all, of our current network providers. Be sure to check the provider directory available through hmh.

In the limited case that your current provider is not in the Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield network, please provide his/her name and address for possible network recruitment to Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield Member Services at 1.844.383.2327, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., ET, and Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. ET.

Q: What will the change to OptumRx mean to me? A: Prescription drug coverage is included as part of the medical plan. For 2018, we will adopt the OptumRx formulary (list of covered medications). If you are impacted by the formulary change, you will receive a letter from OptumRx in December. You also can view the OptumRx formulary through .

Q: What do I need to do during enrollment? A: The Benefits Open Enrollment period is your annual opportunity to discuss and choose the most appropriate benefit plans for you and your eligible dependents, learn about new benefits and review and update your personal, dependent and beneficiary data.

We strongly encourage you to enroll/re-enroll for benefits so your benefits will best meet the needs of you and your family.

Hackensack University Medical Center Team Members

Starting on November 1, you will have the ability to open the "Benefits Enrollment" link.

1. Log into a HackensackUMC PC using your network User ID and Password (if you don't know your User ID or Password, contact the Helpdesk at ex. 4357).

2. Click on the HUMCNET icon to access the HackensackUMC Intranet Portal.

3. Click on the MyWay--PeopleSoft link in the list of applications on the right-hand side of the page.

4. Log on to MyWay--PeopleSoft using the same User ID and Password you use to sign onto the Legacy HackensackUMC network.

5. Click on the Benefits Enrollment link under the Benefits section. Then click "Select" under the Open Enrollment event.

6. Complete your Benefits Elections then click the Submit button.
