Beaumont Farms HOA, Inc.Annual Meeting January 10, 2017On Tuesday, January 10, 2017, the annual meeting of the members of Beaumont Farms HOA, Inc. was called to order at approximately 6:35 p.m. at the Peachtree City Library, located at 201 Willowbend Road, Peachtree City GA 30269. Lee Mason and Stephanie Mason of Community Association Management, LLC (CAM)/Law Offices of Lee Mason, LLC, were present. There were 5 owners present in person or by proxy and because no quorum was met, a motion was made, seconded and unanimously approved to waive the quorum requirement.The agenda for the Annual Meeting was as follows:1.????????? Sign in 2.???????? Overview of 2016 Accomplishments3.???????? Review of Financials and 2017 Annual Budget4.???????? Discussion of the increase in annual dues5. ??????? Vote on the Amendment to CC&R’s adding additional fencing types6.???????? Nomination and election of Board of Directors7.???????? Questions and Answers8.???????? AdjournmentSarah Shirley discussed the 2016 accomplishments, some of which included neighborhood fence repair and repainting; playground slide repair, painting address numbers on curbs, pinestraw/mulch application and electrical repairs at the front entrance.Some of the projects planned for 2017 include an engineering assessment of the detention pond, installation of spring flowers at the front entrance, and repairs to the area to the left of the pavilion.The 2016 year end financials were presented and reviewed.? Lee Mason discussed the proposed 2017 annual Budget. Mr. Mason spoke about the election process and opened the floor for nominations.? Susan Holbrook was nominated.? Elections were held for the 2017 Board of Directors.? Sarah Shirley, Jeff Huckaby and Susan Holbrook were elected to the Board.? A question and answer session followed to address other concerns raised by the members.? There was discussion held on the lack of participation from the community at the annual meetings and it was suggested to hold the next annual meeting in April, after Spring Break.? There was also discussion on the vote of the proposed Amendment to the CC&R’s regarding additional fencing types.? It was suggested not to adjourn the annual meeting in order to allow board members to obtain additional votes from members who were not present at the meeting.?
