NAVIANCE FAMILY CONNECTION

INTRODUCTION

Family Connection from Naviance® is a comprehensive web-based program designed especially for students and parents. Naviance can help you make decisions about colleges, careers and academic planning. Family Connection will allow you to:

• Plan your path to a career – learn more about careers that are the best match for your interests and talents, explore career clusters, and complete personality profiles.

• Research colleges – search for and compare colleges, make a college plan, find statistics using historical data from students who have applied from our high school.

• Sign-up for college visits – find out which colleges are visiting our school and sign-up to attend those sessions.

• Search for scholarships – see a list of local community scholarships offered to DSHS students, and use scholarship tools to find national scholarships online.
