Pray for our interconnected world as we respond to the Coronavirus pandemic - for the health service providers and government officials in countries around the world to work well and make good decisions. Pray for the vulnerable, the poor, and the marginalised in all places who will be hit hardest by this crisis.

Coronavirus update

Following advice from the government and the Church of England we are suspending (until further notice)

administration of the chalice during communion (the bread is still available)

hand shaking or physical contact during The Peace

any 'laying on of hands' during blessings or prayer

catering (no tea/coffee or refreshments)

passing a collection plate

Please do continue to maintain good hygiene practices (handwashing etc) and to pray for our community.

We will continue to update this advice to follow recommendations from the authorities.

Notification of Annual Parochial Church Meeting

The APCM will take place on Sunday 29th March 2020 at 10.30am at Christ Church.  The reports for the meeting are available on the website (.uk). There will be elections for Churchwardens, PCC, Deanery Synod and for an Electoral Roll Officer.  Please sign up on the notice board by the main door if you are interested in taking on one of these roles.

Easy English Baptism Course

This will continue on Sunday 22nd March.

Meeting Point Food appeal!

Food stocks are running really low at the moment. All donations will go towards feeding 100+ people each week. Items we are in need of include: - rice, chopped tomatoes, tinned soup/pulses, tinned tuna, oil, tea/coffee/ sugar. Any amount big or small would be much appreciated and can be dropped off at Church on Sunday, Monday (9.30-6pm) or Wednesday (10am-3.30pm).

Electoral roll

If you would like to be added to the Church electoral role please speak to Dan or to one of the church Wardens (Allan, Denise).

|Environmental TIP of the Month |

Reduce your impact on the environment by buying second hand when you can. Ebay and charity shops are good sources of reused items.
