A QUICK GUIDE TO THE REGISTRY FOR HOMECARE AND PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKERS
Web Address: Click on the appropriate section:
? Seniors and Adults with Physical Disabilities, ? People with Developmental or Intellectual Disabilities, or ? Addictions and Mental Health
Select: New Worker? "Click to Register".
Create a Username and Password: ? Enter last name and provider number. ? Username must be at least four characters - letters, numbers, or (preferably) a combination of letters and numbers. ? Do not use your last name or provider number. ? Enter and re-enter a password. ? The password must be at least six characters
Click on Register
Tip: When creating a Username, you may need to try more than once to create one that is not already in use. Remember to write down the Username and Password. If you need a Password reset or assistance, email Registry.OHCC@State.OR.US, or call 1-877-867-0077 during regular business hours.
Complete or verify your information on each of the following tabs:
? Availability for work ? Hours you are willing to work ? Tasks you are willing to complete
A Quick way to update your information:
Use the tabs along the top of each page to navigate through the screens. Update: 1) Telephone 2) Email Address
Save changes: select "update" or "next" or simply click to another page.
R equired inform ation: Required fields will be indicated with a notice in red.
N eed m ore inform ation? Select any "Expand" button to learn more about that topic.
Verify correct inform ation: Always review the "Summary" screen to make sure your information is correct. K eep your availability status updated.
Help W anted Tab: This tab provides the worker with a list potential employers who are looking for a worker. Be aware that if you reply to an ad, the employer will not be able to view your profile. You will need to supply them with all your necessary information and work history.
Log in to the Registry every 30 days:
You are required to log in, every 30 days if you are look ing for work. If you do not log in, your status will automatically change back to "unavailable" and you will not appear on a consumer's list.
After logging in, mark "yes" or "no" in the box that is labeled, "looking for work?", or
? Go to the availability page and complete "looking for work" then click "update".
? All information can be changed by going to the appropriate page, updating and click "update".
