Global Protect VPN for Windows 10 Usage Guide Steps 1-9: Connect to the VPN for network share access. Steps 1-4 and 10-15: Connect to the VPN for Remote Desktop access to work computer or RAS01 terminal server.

2) Go down to "P" and open the "Palo Alto Network" folder. Left click on "GlobalProtect"

Global Protect VPN for Windows 10 Usage Guide 3) Type fw01.lorainccc.edu in for the Portal. Put your LCCC username and password in. Click on "Connect".

4) If this message comes up click "Continue". If you receive a message about a newer version that is available click on "Yes". You may have to re-connect after installation is complete.

6) In the address bar type \\fs01 and press enter on the keyboard

Global Protect VPN for Windows 10 Usage Guide 7) Input LCCC username and password. LCCC\username and password. Click on "OK".

8) Find your network share and open the share.

Global Protect VPN for Windows 10 Usage Guide 9) When you are done using the VPN right click the "Globe" with the shield located in the taskbar and click "Disconnect ".

10) After you have established a VPN connection if you have the ability to remote desktop into your work computer or RAS01(the terminal server), first place the cursor in the search box at the bottom left.

Global Protect VPN for Windows 10 Usage Guide 11) Type "remote" into the search box. Windows will display Remote Desktop Connection at the top of the list. Left click and open Remote Desktop Connection.

12) In the Computer: field input your work computer name. Contact the help desk for assistance retrieving computer name if needed. Click on "Connect". If you are connecting for the terminal server RAS01 input Computer: RAS01 then click "Connect".
