Smoothly push ‘Record’ and ‘Stop Recording’b. Save audio from your device to a Google Drive or folder on your device or computer.c. Use the device ‘hands free’ to recordMake sure room is quiet. Turn off all fans, A/C, etc. Eliminate interruptions.Test your headphones or earbuds to ensure that you can hear well. Make sure the audio on the guide video is turned up to a comfortable level for you to both hear and sing well.TO RECORDOn playback device: Pull up Guide Video and have it ready to push ‘play.’ Close all other applications. Silence any other notifications or noises that may interfere with playback. Plug headphones or earbuds into playback device.On your recording device: Position it approximately 18 inches away from your face, with your music in position. Do not hold the recording device in your hand; place or mount it on a stand so it will not move during the recording. Open your audio recorder app (Voice Recorder Pro or your phone’s built-in voice recorder app) and get ready to push ‘record.’Record:Correctly position your headphones or earbuds.Push ‘play’ on the Guide Video.When prompted by Michael in the Guide Video, push ‘record’ on your recording device.At the conclusion of the song, freeze and slowly count to 5. Push ‘stop’ on the recording device.Save the audio file you have just made to your device.TO SUBMIT YOUR AUDIOUpload your audio submission here: name/send your file in this format, so we can track your submission:voice part - first name last name (Example: S1 – Susie Songbird)HINTSWatch both the Instructions Video and Guide Video a few times each to note Michael’s markings and conducting.
