Former Tucson Police officer to get re-trial

2013 Cop Sexual Assault Benjamin Gaballa

There will be a re-trial for former Tucson Police officer, Benjamin Gaballa. Gaballa appeared in court Thursday morning to find out the status of a sexual assault and abuse case, after his first trial ended in a hung jury last month. Prosecutors argued that Gaballa raped a woman he had arrested. Tucson Police officials say he was fired in August 2013, after only one year on the job. His re-trial date is set for November, 2014.
