Do you have one hour a week to volunteer to help fill the BuddyBags for the children of Canton? The bags are filled at The First Baptist Church of Canton in the Fellowship Hall on Thursday afternoons from 2:00-3:00pm. You need not be a marathon runner or a weight lifter for this easy task! I am also looking for someone who would be willing to pick-up the empty totes from East View school and return them back to the Baptist church on Monday or Tuesday of every week. Please sign up in the church office (647-1015) or see Ren`ee.

The Friendship Festival Needs You!!

Feeding Carnival Workers

Before the Friendship Festival even begins in Canton...we'll be reaching out again to the festival Carnival Workers by feeding them a homemade meal on Tuesday, Sept. 11th.

You can help with this amazing and fun outreach opportunity in TWO WAYS:

YOUR (MONETARY) GIFTS: Your monetary donations are ESSENTIAL when it comes to supplying the necessary ingredients for a warm homemade meal. Please drop off a donation in the office or in the offering plate!

YOUR PRESENCE: Eager Volunteers are needed to set up, feed workers, tear down, and clean up on the 11th. Dinner will be served at 6pm. If interested, please sign up at the Carnival Display outside of the sanctuary.

This is such a unique outreach opportunity, but it's only made possible by YOU and YOUR support! Thank you!

Festival Parade

The Friendship Festival is packed with all kinds of family fun, including contests, carnival rides, and of course...a parade! This year's parade is on Saturday, September 15th and we would LOVE to have EVERYONE take part so we can show Canton how awesome Wesley UMC truly is!

We will meet at the church at 8:30 am. The parade theme this year is Vintage Circus.
