INSTALLATION

1. Remove the passenger seat.

2. Refer to the Service Manual for the motorcycle, remove

the motorcycle parts.

TORQUE CHART

Tighten all screws, bolts, and nuts to their specified torque values. Refer to the Service Manual for the torque values of the removed parts.

USE AND CARE INFORMATION

?? When installing the U-lock (P/N 08M53-MFL-800) which

is sold separately, always use this accessory.

?? Never use organic solvents such as gasoline, thinner or

benzine to clean this accessory. Also do not use acid or

alkaline cleaners.

?? Wipe up spilled brake or battery fluid at once as they may

damage the plastic surface.

?? Check the accessory mounts frequently.

?? Added accessories can affect a motorcycle's stability,

performance and safe riding speed.

REAR UNDER COVER

3. Remove the bolts to ease removal of the motorcycle's band.

4. Remove the motorcycle parts as shown. ?? Remove the band while pushing the rear fender down lightly.

2. Insert the lock (cylinder side) noting the installation direction of the lock as shown.

BOSSES Face in the direction shown.

2. Insert the arm as shown.

How To Store The U-Lock

1. Install the U-lock band as shown. ?? Install the U-lock band while pushing the rear fender down lightly.

RING Hook to the motorcycle's hooks.

U-LOCK BAND

Do not press excessively.

ARM

3. Secure the arm with the U-lock band as shown.

U-LOCK BAND Pull fully and secure.

4. Secure the document and tool kit on the reverse side of the passenger seat as shown.

MOTORCYCLE'S BAND (Reuse) Hook to the hooks of the passenger seat.

5. Reinstall the removed parts of the motorcycle.

6. Install the passenger seat.

1. Secure the document and tool kit with the U-lock band as shown.
