The Spirit of Community in the Heart of the City

Saint Andrew's is the oldest Episcopal church in Tucson, and we're thrilled to be celebrating our 85th year. We are an all-inclusive group striving to offer community and spiritual sustenance to the Armory Park neighborhood and beyond. Our historic building has been a place of gathering since its construction in 1930. Though the neighborhood has changed significantly since then, St. Andrew's stands strong as a beacon of resiliency and hope to those in search of a deeper connection with themselves, with each other and with God.

WE ARE dedicatED to serving the TUCSON community. Whether through one of our ministries such as Neighbors Feeding Neighbors or by providing spiritual guidance and support to those in need, we strive to be a haven for anyone and everyone who wants to deepen their faith, celebrate community and embrace diversity. You truly are ALWAYS welcome here!

OUR MISSION

To be a welcoming community devoted to spiritual growth, and living as disciples of Christ.

OUR VISION

We are led by God to be a diverse community of faith transforming lives by sharing the good news

of God's love in our neighborhood and world.

Faith is more than just what you do at church. Faith comprises the values that guide your life and the hope that sustains you in the midst of struggle. At St. Andrew's you can listen to engaging sermons, experience God through the beautiful music offered by our choir, share your spiritual journey in a small group, or discuss the Bible over a cup of coffee. We make room for doubt and questions because we believe they are integral to the process of making your faith meaningful to you.

Poor or rich, old or young, you are welcome here. Divorced, married, partnered, widowed, single, you are welcome here. Gay, straight, bisexual, transgendered, you are welcome here. Questioning, struggling, wrestling with God, you are welcome here. Searching, discovering, wondering, you are welcome here. Sinners and saints, even if you believe you have no place in a community of faith, we believe you could find a place in ours.

Outreach is one of the ways we live

our faith. Our outreach ministries have helped us to foster our relationship with the community and with one another. We work closely with organizations such as the Armory Park Neighborhood Association, the Southern Arizona Aids Foundation (SAAF), Tucson Interfaith HIV and Aids Network (TIHAN), Interfaith Community Services (ICS), No More Deaths, The Community Foodbank, Imago Dei Middle School, the Primavera Homeless Shelter and more. Led by Deacon Jefferson Bailey, our food program Neighbors Feeding Neighbors is an integral part of our service to our community. Last year we served over 8,000 meals to those in need! So, if you're looking for a place to belong where you can help make a difference in the world around you, you've found it at St. Andrew's.

OUR CORE VALUES

Worship Relationships

Outreach Diversity

We believe in love. We know it is not always easy, but we believe that love is the heart of transformation and one of life's greatest gifts. If you are looking to make new friends, to strengthen current relationships or just figure out how to be friendlier to your neighbors, we want to support you.

At St. Andrew's we VALUE HUMan

connection. Our church is special because we take the time to get to know all of our members. We celebrate with each other, grieve with each other, heal alongside each other, and give a voice to those who may otherwise feel marginalized. To us, church is synonymous with family. We hope you'll be a part of it.

Celebrate differenceS, ?for THEY ARE necessary

for the healing of this world.

?-Presiding bishop katharine jefferts schori
