(can be found next to the position) on search box.SPECIALTY BILLING TEAM (200770)JOB SUMMARY:The Specialty Billing Team members work in cooperation with the physician practice team to ensure correct coding and submission of clean claims to expedite the processing of EDI, paper, primary and secondary claims. Additionally they are responsible for all follow up of unpaid claims, reimbursement analysis and A/R collection of both insurance and self pays. Specialty Billing Team members work designated specialty practices from start to finish rather than working payer or account specific. ?Knowledge:Requires High School diploma or GED required. Additional training relative to insurance, Management, Software and Hardware would be helpful. Must be familiar with computer, medical terminology, ICD-9 and CPT coding, have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to cope with diverse personalities. Must be able to understand and interpret policies and regulations, able to prepare reports in accordance with detailed instructions. ?Experience:Requires 4 to 5 years’ experience in multi-specialty physician billing. 2 years’ experience with computer application.
