TITLE: Supervising Community Program Specialist
LOCATION: The Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Central Regional Officer, Toms River, NJ.
SALARY: $68,993.91 - $98,318.61
DEFINITION: Under direction of a Regional Administrator or other higher level manager in the Department of Human Services, in a regional or central office, plans, supervises, and coordinates the activities and staff involved in development, implementation, and evaluation of social service, educational, and/or habilitative programs and other related services; does other related duties.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree.
EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years of program delivery experience providing education, habilitative, or social services in programs for the developmental disabled, one (1) year of which shall have been in a supervisory capacity.
NOTE: Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional experience as indicated on a year for year basis with thirty (30) semester hour credits being equal to one (1) year of experience.
NOTE: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Public or Business Administration, Education, Psychology, Nursing, or other related areas may be substituted for one (1) year of non-supervisory experience.
