You are invited to submit a Presentation Proposal for the 2019 Rocky Mountain Summit. The RMAFP annual conference is the premiere finance and treasury event of the Rocky Mountain region and attracts between 200-300 Financial Professionals to take part in this one-day event. The Summit offers the opportunity to exchange ideas and information with colleagues, as well as learn about current trends and cutting-edge technology in the finance industry. As a presenter, you can engage conference attendees in the latest information and topics that will give them a competitive edge. You will enjoy full conference registration, along with recognition in our promotional materials. We are looking for all types of presentations, from individuals, panel presentations, roundtable discussions, case studies and interactive workshops.

The RMAFP is the preeminent association of Treasury and Finance professionals in the Colorado and Rocky Mountain region. Our members come from diverse businesses and backgrounds, and we are always exploring new ways to grow and connect. The RMAFP has been presenting the Summit for 30+ years, and our annual conference is known for engaging high caliber speakers and providing the best educational sessions to all levels within the industry.

Members of the 2018-2019 Education Committee will review only completed speaker applications received by the deadline of Wednesday, January 9th, 2019.

Committee Review Criteria

• Clarity and specificity of proposal

• Qualifications of presenter(s)

• Presentations by corporate treasury or finance practitioners or integration of these users into your presentation

• Technical content – provide detail of product, service, project and/or implementation as appendix in addition to presentation

• Interactive presentations – product/service demonstrations, attendee poll/response and/or other engaging techniques throughout presentation

• Strength of reference or past experience with the Summit

• Practical applicability

• Methods of presentation

• Ability to offer CTP, FP&A, AAP and CPE continuing education credits for treasury and finance, ACH and Accounting professionals for the session

Acceptance Guidelines

• The material presented in education programs does not constitute an endorsement by RMAFP of any speaker, product or organization.

• The presentation is intended to provide information and resources for Summit participants and will NOT promote the products or services of the presenting organization.

• The presenting organization is responsible for all presentation expenses, including but not limited to travel and transportation and accommodations.

• RMAFP will provide standard audio-visual equipment (excluding a laptop in most cases) based on its applicability to the presentation. Some equipment may require special consideration and prior approval by RMAFP.

• Presenter must seek approval from RMAFP for any music or video to be used in the presentation.

• Presenter is responsible for obtaining permission for any copyrighted materials to be used in presentation.

• RMAFP may require session speakers to attend a pre-conference speaker’s teleconference or webinar.

• RMAFP reserve the right to select an alternate presentation should the original speaker from an organization become unavailable to present. The substitute will need final approval by the Education Committee.

Steps for Submitting Your Proposal

• Complete fully the Application for Presentation Proposal and e-mail to RMAFP by the deadline date of Wednesday, January 9th, 2019.

• The Education Committee reserves the right to seek modifications to a proposal before a final decision is made.

• An organization or individual may submit more than one proposal. The application form may be freely reproduced.

• Those who submit proposals will be notified regarding the proposal status after the Education Committee has completed its review.
