This list is intended to provide Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) patients, families, and friends with information regarding housing accommodations near the Longwood Medical Area, and in no way constitutes a recommendation or an edorsement of any hotel or other accommodation by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

RATES Hotel rates are subject to change and vary depending on the time of year and the type of room.

Watch out for price hikes during events like the Boston Marathon (April), college graduation (May), and Head of the Charles Regatta (October), among others.

CONTACTING HOTELS Calling is the recommended method for contacting hotels in order to reserve rooms at the best rate and to ask

about amenities (e.g. breakfast, WIFI, shuttle service, refrigerators). Often, you cannot cancel reservations made online through websites such as Orbitz or Expedia.

Medical rates: some hotels offer a reduced rate for patients and sometimes their families.
