President's Report: AKC sent Kim a notice asking if we would like to do a Good Sportsman Award. General discussion was made with regards to the good sportsman award. We will be looking for nominations. For the past several years this award was given "In Memory of Kathy Anderson". Doug made a motion to remove the "In Memory of Kathy Anderson" from the award. Kim seconded. Motion passed unanimously.
Brenda Nyx had requested a mandatory separate Open Class for Pepper/Salt. The Board had passed a motion in January to revisit the 2004 mandatory open class Pepper/Salt at all AKC
Conformation shows. Kim found out that it is not mandatory for any color to be split. It was suggested to Kim that we approach all superintendents for anyone that is interested to split the class. Same with local kennel clubs. We should be mindful of splitting for Open Dog and Open Bitch at our regional specialties.
Christina will be looking into setting up a Midwest Specialty with some bigger shows in the spring.
Patricia is doing a supporting entry for Mother's Day weekend for the Western Regional.
Lori is to report on our National at our next Board Meeting.
Unfinished Business: Breeders List- Howard is still working on the Breeders Directory. He is going to ask Robyn to blast out to the membership an application for the breeders listing. We will look into having Thomas post it as well. He will look into PayPal for processing.
E Voting- Doug is still working on the rewrite of our constitution to allow for E Balloting by way of electronic transmission with information from the AKC. He will be working to separate Constitution and Bylaws from Breed Standard.
Non renewing members- Bernie is contacting members that have not renewed. Membership is down a small amount but there are reasons such as dual household to single households, etc.
Regional Directors Report: Cornelia reported that everything is moving forward for the Southern Regional Specialty. Onofrio does not have all info necessary even though it has been previously provided. All info will be provided again. Cornelia is emailing Kim list of trophies. Account to be opened with Wells Fargo for the Specialty.
Janine is starting to investigate Syracuse in November for the Eastern Regional Specialty? waiting for call back from kennel club as nothing is on the AKC site yet. No info on Panel yet .
New Business: Kim has written a health survey for Giant Schnauzers. OFA is reviewing. The survey will be sent to the board for review.
Delegate Expenses ? Howard mentioned that in the past the treasurer has a $200 limit for payment of expenses without the Board approval. The larger expenses were preapproved by the board for the delegate. Howard made a motion to preapprove delegate expenses up to $750 for the March, June & September meetings and up to $1,400 for the December meeting. Brenda seconded Kim abstained as she is our AKC delegate Motion passed unanimously.
AKC Tabulation Subscription -
Howard indicated that Luke Norton
will be doing our Conformation
tabulations going forward. Howard
indicated there is a subscription
with the AKC to obtain the num-
bers from them for Jr. Handler,
Obedience, Rally and Agility.
There are two subscriptions - one
for Conformation and Jr. Handler
and One for Agility, Obedience and
Rally. The
subscriptions are
$420 each. We will be looking to
get two subscriptions for $840 total
for the year. Howard made a mo-
tion to approve an $840 expense for
two subscriptions from the AKC
for Event Results for the year.
Kim seconded.
Motion passed unanimously.
New Titles ? Robyn Elliott will be posting to Facebook the new titles. Mention was made that the AKC should start to send to Robyn. When our subscription is renewed

Review of 2014 Treasurer's Books ? Howard made mention that we are waiting for info from Sheila Lietz from the 2014 National to complete the books. As soon as this info is received the review will be made.
Webpage- Howard mentioned that the expense for our Go Daddy account hosting ($80) and domain name fee ($97) are coming due for payment. We are going to set up an auto debit to the club bank account for these fees to be done automatically each year. There is also a corporate filing fee for the State of Oregon ($50) coming due that will be handled through the auto
debit as well, annually.
