Airlines

NSF has negotiated discount with 3 airlines, Delta, American & United to avail the 5% discount. Please also verify with your favorite airline fare comparison sites like Kayak, Google Flights, Travelocity, Expedia etc. to determine which airline to target. Don't be surprised if these sites give you the better price than the 3 airline websites with the 5% discount.

For the 3 airlines below, using the discount codes, the Destination City is Boston, MA (BOS), but you can also use Providence, RI (PVD) or Manchester, NH (MHT) if you prefer (for cheaper fares or convenience). Travel must begin after August 6 and be completed by August 14, 2019 to avail the additional discount.

American Airlines Go to After entering basic flight details and you have picked the flights, you will be prompted to enter passenger details. Under Promo codes and accounts, enter 5289BK to get the 5% discount

United Go to meetingtravel and enter ZGWH202025 in Offer Code box to receive your discount

The other major airlines to check are JetBlue and Southwestern for which we do not have any negotiated discounts.

Car Rentals

We were able to negotiate a discount code with Budget. Please enter T240299 under the Enter an Offer Code and then in BCD Code box. This will give you a 5% discount.

You might get better discounts at Hotwire, Priceline, Expedia, etc. and at the websites of Budget, Alamo, Thrifty, Enterprise, National etc. especially when using your AAA or other group memberships.

Some hotels offer shuttles to hotels and they are noted in the hotels section for which we have negotiated discounts. You can then use Uber/Lyft to take a ride to MIT or to get to the T (subway in Boston). The nearest station is Kendall (MIT) on the Red Line. There will be parking available at 2 lots in MIT for a daily rate of $9 (no in and out privileges)
