My Dream House – Design with Sketchup Project

This project is a joint project with MS3 Math Dream House project. LP’s are asked to first design a house floor plan and then develop it into a 3-D house using Sketchup.

There will be the following parts in this project:

1. project plan:

Information such as type of the house, number of floors, roof type, room specifications, other buildings (e.g swimming pool, garage…) if included can be shown in the plan

2. floor plan

This has to reveal the architectural reality.

3. 3-D house design

Both exterior and interior designs will be assessed. A house without or with little interior design can gain max. mark of A while a house with nice interior designs can be awarded A*.

Following is the assessment rubric:
