Responsibilities for housekeeping supervisor

Report maintenance faults and damage to machines, furniture and fittings in all areas of the hotel to the maintenance department Establish and maintain standards and procedures of cleanliness standards for the entire hotel Assist the Housekeeping Manager in establishing and maintaining pest control, landscape schedules for all areas in the hotel Maintain consistent quality of plants and flowers for public areas and guest rooms according to hotel's requirements Periodically run various reports Departures, Wait Status and communicate pertinent information to QA's, to insure a smooth work flow QA as needed Patrol all floors to insure good work flow, checking housekeepers times and encourage them to up their pace if they are lagging or compliment them on outstanding work if they are working ahead of pace Verify all room statuses with QA at the end of the shift and make sure all room statuses are correctly entered into the computer prior to the end of their shift Responsible for the coordination of routine responsibilities of employees Ensure that trash/garbage removal meets with health, safety and sanitation regulations including receiving dock areas and the grounds surrounding the area

Minimum one year in a supervisory or management housekeeping position required Ability to speak and read both English and Spanish preferred Possesses Leadership skills and ensure that staff members or workers are comfortable while working in the setup Must be able to work AM Shifts every day of the week Inventory checks of operating supplies guests supplies Assist the Housekeeping Manager to order supplies when running low
