??????Family Time Tips.??Dear Parent,??During the Coronavirus outbreak, the First and Foremost project is looking to find innovative ways to help parents support their children’s learning and development. Subsequently, we would like to invite you to take part in an exciting new service that it is developing with the Early Years Alliance. ?Family Time Tips uses WhatsApp Broadcast to send you learning and development ideas direct to your mobile phone. Daily topics cover language and play activities, health and well-being tips and nutritional advice for you and your child. The internet is swamped with advice and suggestions, some good and some not so good, so the Alliance is sifting and quality assuring them to ensure we only send through what we think is of value. If you choose to sign up, every day we will send you activity suggestions to do with your child. These will include handy hints, video clips and other ideas to encourage chatter and play. It will also feature tips for staying healthy and supporting children’s learning and development during periods of self-isolation for families. ?You can choose to ignore any or all the suggestions and opt out of receiving the messages at any time. This is not a commercial activity so you will not receive any advertising or ‘click-bait’. Your mobile phone number will not be shared with anyone else signed up to the project.??If you do not currently use WhatsApp and would like help in how to set it up, or if you have any other questions about Family Time Tips, please contact Jonathan Lucas at the Early Years Alliance (jonathan.lucas@.uk).???We hope you will join in to help us develop this exciting service in what is a challenging time for children and parents everywhere.
