PROGRAM NOTES

It's hard to believe a year has passed since we were last able to sing for a live audience but here we are and what a wonderful feeling it is. As I reflect on the year, there is a constant that stands out to me and that is the enduring love of family, friends, and our heavenly Father. It is that love that has sustained many of us through the year, so it is fitting that the selections for tonight reflect that love. We open with the early hymn, "Of the Father's Love Begotten" and close with our traditional benediction, "Jesus, I Adore Thee". In between you will hear texts that express the wonderment of God's love, the charity we experience when he is present, the joy of singing and abandoned praise, and the peace of stealing away to spend time with him in the solitude of an old church. It is the assurance of a
