The DAS Bureau of Enterprise Systems and Technology is pleased to announce the implementation of a new Enterprise Help Desk application called BMC Footprints.? This application allows you to take advantage of our new Request for Service and Incident Management System!Our goal is to provide you with a simple solution that allows you to submit and view your requests and incidents on-line through a customer service portal called Service Catalog.? The Service Catalog is available 24 hours a day to submit your requests and incidents. You can even update a ticket by simply responding to the e-mail you received for that ticket!Once a request or issue is reported via the Service Catalog, the BMC Footprints application allows our technology professionals to track and manage the work requests. Important Note: To report a service disruption affecting your business, please contact the DAS/BEST Help Desk directly at (860) 622-2300 option 9.How to access the Service Catalog:Prior to accessing the BMC Footprints Application, you will need to have the latest version of Java installed. Please contact your IT support team for direction.The link to the service catalog is provided below. Prior to selecting the link, you need to determine what your Footprints Service Catalog login ID is. If your Agency is currently a member of the State of Connecticut EXEC domain in Active Directory, use your network login ID and password that you use daily to log onto your computer. <List of agencies that are in the EXEC domain AD>If your Agency is currently a member of the State of Connecticut EXEC domain using the Exchange e-mail system, you will use your e-mail account and password. <List of agencies that use the EXEC domain Exchange e-mail system>If your Agency is not part of the State of Connecticut EXEC domain, you will need to create a new account. We recommend using your last name, first initial of your first name and 4 numeric digits such as MMDD of your birth.
