Pre-Install

1. Please contact our helpdesk at mwr.helpdesk@us.army.mil to get an account for the computer name you will be accessing from. Helpdesk will assign you a username and password.

2. Click the Start button [pic](bottom left of screen), right-click Computer (may show as computer name), and then click Properties.

a. If "64-bit Operating System" is listed next to System type, you’re running the 64-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows 7.

b. If "32-bit Operating System" is listed next to System type, you’re running the 32-bit version of Windows Vista or Windows 7.

c. The edition of Windows Vista or Windows 7 you're running is displayed under Windows edition near the top of the window.

d. Write down and please remember version for later

3. If you do not have administrator rights to your computer please call your local helpdesk for installation assistance later in this instruction.

Instructions for installing SSTP client

5. Select the correct client for your Operating System 32 bit or 64 bit , see below steps to verify what your computer is running:

6. Once you select your client this bar will appear at the bottom of your screen

Click the down arrow next to save and select save as, and then navigate to your desktop select save.

Use the tree on the left side to select your desktop, and then click save. You can now close the download bar if it is still open.

7. Now you will need to minimize your browser window. Go back to your desktop and right click the file [pic] and select run as administrator, if you do not have administrator rights to your computer please call your local helpdesk for installation. Select yes in the download dialogue box. Now a small black window will open and run. It will close on its when complete. New Icons will be saved to your desktop upon completion.

8. Circulation library staff will complete this step. In order to setup an SSTP account you will have to be approved as an SSTP Account Creator by your Library Functional Administrator. If you do not have an ArmyBizNet Citrix account or are not already an SSTP Account Creator you will need to create one by going to and clicking Accounts.

9. Click the Biznet CAC Access Icon on your desktop

10. Select connect

11. Sign in with CAC (use email cert.)

12. Now return to and in the top Right corner select Helpful Links [pic] Then select the first link [pic]

13. The link will send you to new page now select the following link.

****Do not login with CAC card***

Select use another account or use the top portion it should already be username and password.

Then login using ***** armybiznet\username (in the username box) and password****** that was provided by helpdesk. Be sure to add armybiznet\ before the username.

14. Next you will be taken to the following page. Select request a certificate; you will be redirected to another page.

15. Select create and submit a request to the CA

16. Click yes

17. ***Do not change any of the settings then select submit***

19. Select Install this certificate

20. Be advised that this certificate is only for the machine for which the helpdesk provided a username. If additional certificates are created they will be disabled.

21. Now that the certificate is installed open network adapters and select disconnect from Biznet secure access, by going to the task bar in bottom right and selecting the icon

That looks like the one circled [pic] then right click Biznet CAC Access and disconnect, or you can go to the start button in the left bottom hand of your screen then to control panel select network and sharing center on the left side of the screen select change adapter settings then right click the Biznet CAC access icon and click disconnect. (See picture below)

22. Alternatively you can go to your desktop and click the Biznet Certificate Access shortcut

23. Select connect

24. Now select ok

25. You are now connected to the ArmyBizNet network. The certificate that you just installed and will use for system access will be valid for 180 days. Every time you log in you will see the expiration date. Please renew your certificate approximately 10 days prior to expiration. For the final step please contact the helpdesk and notify them of successful completion to insure the account does not get disabled. mwr.helpdesk@us.army.mil
