1. Instructions using Easy Media Creator (Adaptec/Roxio) on Windows
1. Insert a blank media into the writer.
2. Start "Creator Classic"
3. Select "Other Tasks"
4. Select "Burn from Disc Image File"
5. Select the ISO image file.
6. Click on OK.
7. Click on OK once again to burn the image.

2. Instructions using Nero Burning ROM (Ahead Software) On Windows
1. Insert a blank media into the writer.
2. Launch Nero.
3. In the File menu, select "Burn CD image".
4. Choose as file type: all files (*.*), since Nero expects files with the NRG suffix.
5. Select the ISO image file.
6. You will see a dialog box asking if you want to supply detailed image parameters. Enter the following parameters:
o Type of image: Data Mode 1
o Block size: 2048 bytes per sector
o File precursor and image trailer: 0 length
o No scrambled and no Swapped.
7. Click on "burn". If the program complains that there are errors in the image file, click on the button "Ignore" and launch the burning.

3. Instructions using Nero Express (Ahead Software) On Windows
1. Insert a blank media into the writer.
2. Launch Nero Express.
3. Select "Disc Image or Saved Project"
4. An Open dialog appears. Select the ISO Image file. Click Open.
5. The next screen allows you to select Writing Speed. The best setting is based on your actual hardware, but if you have problems, try slower speeds.
6. Click "Next" to burn.

4. Instructions using WinOnCD (CeQuadrat GmbH, now part of Roxio, Inc.) on Windows
You need to create a Track Image project in WinOnCD for the image file. Please note that the program doesn't accept the ISO suffix for the image, and that you'll have to rename it with the raw suffix.

5. Instructions using CDRWin (Golden Hawk Technology) on Windows
Open the icon labeled "File Backup and Tools". In the listbox named "Backup/Tool Operation", select "Record an ISO 9660 Image File". In the box "ISO 9660 Image File", click on the button labeled "..." (Browse) and select the ISO image file. At the bottom of the dialog box, select CD-ROM and Mode 1. Then click the button labeled "START".

6. Instructions using ISO Recorder V2 Power Toy on Windows
1. Obtain and install the ISO Recorder power toy from the web site.
2. Insert a blank media into the writer.
3. In Windows Explorer, right click on the first ISO image file that you want to burn.
4. In the context menu, select "Copy image to CD".
5. Follow the steps given by the "CD Recording Wizard" pop-up.

7. Instructions using k3b on CentOS
1. Insert a blank media into the writer.
2. Launch k3b (Menu -> Sound & Video -> K3b).
3. From the "Tools" Menu, Select "Burn CD Image" or "Burn DVD ISO Image" as applicable.
4. An Open dialog appears. Click on the "Folder Icon", then select the ISO Image file. Click Open.
5. Click the "Start Button" to burn the image.
