Milady Network Uninstall Procedure (Windows Vista)

The following procedure may be used in the event that you need to uninstall your Milady software.

To Uninstall the Client Components:

1) Go to the Start Menu.

2) Click on Control Panel.

3) In the Control Panel select Programs and Features.

4) In the Programs and Features window, select the following entry and click “Remove.”

                        Milady Nail Technology CD-ROM 1.0

To Uninstall the Server Components:

If you have installed SQL server and now wish to uninstall it, you will need to complete steps A through D below.

A. Uninstall Components.

1) Go to the Start Menu.

2) Click on Control Panel.

3) In the Control Panel select Programs and Features..

4) In the Programs and Features.window, for each of the following entries, select the entry and click “Remove.”

                        Milady Nail Technology CD-ROM 1.0

                        Microsoft SQL Server 2005

Select "MSSQLSERVER: Database Engine"

Check "Workstation Components"

                        Microsoft SQL Server Native Client

B. Manually Delete a Data Folder

To completely remove the program, you will need to delete some folders and data files. To delete the first folder:

1) Go to the Start Menu.

2) Click on Windows Explorer.

3) Using Windows Explorer, browse to Browse to

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data 

4) Delete the following folder:

                        Milady Nail Tech

C. Manually Delete a Data Folder

1) Using Windows Explorer, browse to

C:\Documents and Settings\[Insert Your Username Here]\Application Data

          2) Delete the following folder:

                        Milady Nail Tech

Note: this step may not be required. If you browse to the Application Data folder and cannot find the above Milady Nail Tech folder, then proceed to the next step.

D. Manually Delete Data Files

1) Using Windows Explorer, browse to

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data

2) Delete the following files:

                        MiladyNail.mdf

                        MiladyNail_log.LDF

The following procedure may be used in the event that you need to uninstall your Milady software.

To Uninstall the Client Components:

1) Go to the Start Menu.

2) Click on Control Panel.

3) In the Control Panel select Add or Remove Programs.

4) In the Add or Remove Programs window, select the following entry and click “Remove.”

                        Milady Nail Technology CD-ROM 1.0

To Uninstall the Server Components:

If you have installed SQL server and now wish to uninstall it, you will need to complete steps A through D below.

A. Uninstall Components.

1) Go to the Start Menu.

2) Click on Control Panel.

3) Go to Accessories

4) Click on Windows Explorer.

5) Using Windows Explorer, browse to Browse to

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data 

6) Delete the following folder:

                        Milady Nail Tech

C. Manually Delete a Data Folder

1) Using Windows Explorer, browse to

C:\Documents and Settings\[Insert Your Username Here]\Application Data

          2) Delete the following folder:

                        Milady Nail Tech

Note: this step may not be required. If you browse to the Application Data folder and cannot find the above Milady Nail Tech folder, then proceed to the next step.

D. Manually Delete Data Files

1) Using Windows Explorer, browse to

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data

2) Delete the following files:

                        MiladyNail.mdf

                        MiladyNail_log.LDF
