How Does It Work?

You might be wondering why businesses give

away perfectly good merchandise. The answer

is simple: they have no choice. Big businesses accumulate a

lot of extra inventory in their stores and warehouses because

of overstocking, returns, and discontinued products.

They can¡¯t just throw it in the trash. And they don¡¯t want to

flood the market with discounted items that could hurt sales

for their current products. So they donate it. The federal

government even gives them a tax deduction as an incentive.

Businesses accumulate too much

unsold STUFF.

>

But there are so many thousands of nonprofits and charities,

donations are a logistical nightmare. That¡¯s where NAEIR

steps in. We have the staff, warehouse space, and technology

resources to accept hundreds of millions of dollars worth

of excess inventory and redistribute it fairly and safely to

thousands of qualified nonprofit organizations coast-to-coast.

NAEIR members request items from our catalog or online

requesting site. Everything is FREE. All we ask is that members pay small handling charges plus shipping for Big Book

and Express requests (shipping is FREE for all other distribution methods). This covers our out-of-pocket costs so that

we can continue to operate this unique charitable program.

You can also pick up Big Book and Express items at our

warehouse to eliminate the shipping charge.

They ship all the STUFF to our

12-acre warehouse.
