Copy out your survey data into a new table, make sure your table looks like this:

|Henry |30 |30÷100 x 360 |108( |

|Total |100 | |360( |

You also need to know the TOTAL of how many people you asked.

• Work out the fraction of the total for each player

30÷ total

• Write this answer in the Pie Chart Workings space for each category

• To find the Angle multiply the number in the Pie Chart Workings column by the total number of angles in a circle

• Check that your angles all add up to 360º

• Now you are ready to draw your pie chart.

• Use your PROTRACTOR to measure your portions accurately and then use a RULER to draw them in.

• Now use colour, and don’t forget to label and title your PIE CHART
