|Test Ordering Information: |Students must currently hold a CPR credential and pass a cognitive and psychomotor (performance) exam to |

| |The cognitive (written) portion of the NREMT exam is computer-based exam that is given at authorized Pearson |

| |VUE testing center locations. To schedule an exam, create an account and complete an application on the NREMT |

| |website at the following link: |

| |Once the application has been completed and application fees have been paid, |

| |Student will receive an Authorization to Test (ATT) once eligible to take the exam. |

| |Once student receives ATT, instructor/student can then schedule test with Pearson VUE. Additional scheduling |

| |details are provided in the ATT letter. Complete information on the application process can be found on the |

| |Instructor should consult with their state EMS Office about the format and logistics of completing a state |

| |approved Emergency Medical Responder psychomotor exam. |
