March Madness Chemistry Tournament

1. Do the March Madness Puzzle so that you can see how it works. This will count as an extra credit check.

2. For a “95” quiz grade, create your own puzzle. Use rules for each round that review some of the things you have done. You should use a different rule for each round. Here are some examples:

Element that is most electronegative, largest radius, most reactive

Compound that is polar, nonpolar, or a particular shape

Bond that is the most polar

Compound that is covalent or ionic

Element with the greatest atomic mass

Element that is in a particular family

3. Be creative! Give me two copies. One should have all the answers, and one should be blank, like the one I gave you.

4. Please pass yours in by Friday, March 28th.
