Sweet Sixteen Chemistry Tournament
March Madness Chemistry Tournament
1. Do the March Madness Puzzle so that you can see how it works. This will count as an extra credit check.
2. For a “95” quiz grade, create your own puzzle. Use rules for each round that review some of the things you have done. You should use a different rule for each round. Here are some examples:
Element that is most electronegative, largest radius, most reactive
Compound that is polar, nonpolar, or a particular shape
Bond that is the most polar
Compound that is covalent or ionic
Element with the greatest atomic mass
Element that is in a particular family
3. Be creative! Give me two copies. One should have all the answers, and one should be blank, like the one I gave you.
4. Please pass yours in by Friday, March 28th.
