Using the Screen Capture Toolbar in SMART Notebook 10

The Screen Capture Toolbar allows you to capture an image or text in any window to a Notebook page. The Screen Capture toolbar appears on top of active programs and web browsers.

To capture an area

• Press the Screen Capture icon on the toolbar.

• Uncheck the Capture to new page check box if you want to save the screen capture to the current Notebook page instead of on a new page.

• Press the Area Capture icon on the toolbar; the pointer will change to cross hairs.

• Click and drag the cross hairs on the screen to choose the area you want to capture.

• An image of this area is now on your notebook page.

To capture a particular window

• Press the Screen Capture icon on the toolbar.

• Uncheck the Capture to new page check box if you want to save the screen capture to the current Notebook page instead of on a new page.

• Press the Window Capture icon on the toolbar.

• Click the window that you want to capture.

• An image of this window is now on your notebook page.

To capture the entire screen

• Press the Screen Capture icon on the toolbar.

• Uncheck the Capture to new page check box if you want to save the screen capture to the current Notebook page instead of on a new page.

• Press the Full Screen Capture icon on the toolbar.

• An image of this window is now on your notebook page

To capture a freehand area

• Press the Screen Capture icon on the toolbar.

• Uncheck the Capture to new page check box if you want to save the screen capture to the current Notebook page instead of on a new page.

• Press the Freehand Capture icon on the toolbar; the pointer will change to cross hairs.

• Click and drag the cross hairs on the screen to choose the area you want to capture.

• An image of this area is now on your notebook page.

To close the Screen Capture toolbar

• Click the red X on the Screen Capture toolbar.
