Dear Parents/Guardians:

This year, Baldwin is using an innovative new online resource called Clever. Clever is an “application dashboard” that allows a single sign-on for many of our web subscriptions! Once your child logs on to Clever, they will be able to access featured instructional software applications without additional credentials. These include applications such as IXL, Castle Learning, Khan Academy, NewsELA, with more applications to be added in the future.

To access Clever at home, please go to: and select Clever.

Directions for logging into Clever:

Your child may login to Clever using the domain (LDAP) credentials, which is his/her, username and password.

When the screen below appears, your child will use the same domain (LDAP) credentials and enter his/her username and password. You child should know his/her login credentials. If your child does not remember his/her login credentials your child can ask one of his/her classroom teachers for this information

After your child successfully logs in to Clever, he/she will see the following screen with access to their instructional software applications.

•The icons listed under LINKS are just links that will bring you to the websites represented by the icons. These links will not sign you into the website - your child will still need to sign themselves into a link (Google Drive and Classroom.)

•If your child clicks on any of the icons listed under APPS- Clever will automatically sign them into that Application.

If you have a home computer or tablet device with internet access, we encourage you to support your child using their online learning resources while at home. You will be amazed at how motivated and excited your child will be to share in the interactive learning experiences while studying at home. Watch as your child "teaches" you how to access the resources we utilize in the classroom.
