A how- to -paragraph is a form of expository writing. We are going to make this very simple.You will need a topic sentence, three supporting statements and a concluding sentence for a total of five sentences.You may add more supporting sentences, but you must have at least five sentences. Your subject will be how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. In a how- toparagraph you must use transition words at the beginning of some of your sentences such as: next, then, first, second, third, in addition, as a result., the next step, afterward......
