You may or may not be aware, but you have coping mechanisms that will help you manage these stressful situations. You can control your thoughts, emotions, and your reactions. By understanding that you have control over how you respond, you can help yourself become more resilient in the midst of a challenging or uncertain time. At the end of this seminar, you will have learned how to:?Recognize the reality of your situation?Apply quick strategies to immediately boost resilience?Build resilience through your thoughts?Apply daily habits to build resilience11:00 – 11:55 The Mindfulness of Colouring – Kim Riti54647032409400Come and learn how colouring can lead you to the mindfulness of being in the present moment. Far from being “just colouring,” research has shown that colouring can reduce stress and symptoms of depression. You will learn what materials to buy, how to choose colours and some basic colouring techniques. You will be sent colouring sheets to print and we will do some colouring together. 12:00 – 12:30 Three Responses to Stress and Strategies to Deal with Them – Secondary Cycle II StudentsSecondary Cycle II students at the ETSB virtual school have been researching stress. What is it? How do we respond to it? What can we do to reduce it? Attend this workshop and learn about the three responses to stress, as well as some strategies to cope with it.12:30 – 1:25 Human Design – Jaime MoarHuman Design is based on your DOB, time of birth and location of birth. It brings together a few different modalities like astrology, astronomy, I Ching, and the chakras. But you don’t need to have an understanding about any of these to bring Human Design into your life. It brings you?actionable tools?and understanding that you can use in your everyday life.?Human design guides you to understand the?blueprint of your soul and you take what you need from it and use it to live in a more aligned way.?It shows you how you are?energetically wired, which means you’ll have a better idea of where you are more likely to receive energy from others and where you are more likely to carry power energetically. And when you think about it, we are all energetic beings constantly giving and receiving energy. So, imagine what a gift it is to understand where this energy is coming from and how we can use our own energy more wisely.Human Design also helps you understand where you are meant to be making?decisions?from. Just to give you a clue, when it comes to HD, no one should be making decisions from the mind! So, another gift is that it teaches us to use our deeper knowing. Because we all have an intuitive knowing inside of us, if we learn to listen to it, we’ll be led to living a life that is in alignment with the person that we truly are. Before joining for this workshop, I encourage you to check your Human Design on this site: . This may look like gibberish, but if you come to the workshop knowing your type, strategy and authority, I will help you dissect it. Take a screenshot of your body chart and we can discuss your energy centres as well!1:30 – 2:30 Fostering Resilience in Turbulent Times – Relationship Matters TeamResilience is the ability to cope with adversity through adaptability and flexibility. In times?of stress and uncertainty (like we’re going?through right now) it is often difficult to find the inner resources to sustain our hearts, minds, bodies and spirits. With hope, connection, and a few practical mental health strategies, we can find an inner strength and a?sense of compassion for ourselves and those around us.?This 60-minute online workshop with Kim Barthel and the?Relationship Matters Team will introduce concepts that can support us personally as well as professionally - at least a little bit.?The Relationship Matters team will be available for questions for a half-hour following the workshop.?2:30 – 3:30 Gentle Yoga – Nikki MoarClose the day with some gentle stretching and breathing to unite the spirit, the mind and the body. You’ll be energized for the rest of the day! ................
