Clearing Cache following system upgrade



System upgrades occasionally result in some users experiencing usability issues in eduPay and Recruitment Online. Where users are experiencing issues with the operation of eduPay or Recruitment Online they are advised to clear the ‘cache’ of your internet web browser.This process may be described or viewed differently in alternate versions of the internet browser used than displayed below, if necessary, use the Help menu/tab and search for “Clear Browser Cache” for your browser.The following should assist you in completing this action in the most commonly used internet browsers. Use the help function as above if you use an internet browser not included.Select from:Internet ExplorerMicrosoft Edge Google ChromeSafari (on a Mac)Internet ExplorerOpen Internet Explorer Select the Tools menu/buttonChoose Internet Options In the General tab under Browsing History click the ‘Delete’ buttonThe Delete Browsing History tab opens – ensure the Preserve Favourites website data option is not ticked as shown below. All other check boxes must be ticked.Click Delete.When complete the Delete Browsing History window will close. Click Apply then OKCompletely close your browser (all tabs)Open the browser and access eduPay or Recruitment Online again.Microsoft EdgeOpen Microsoft EdgeAccess the menus as shown belowClick Privacy & security, then click “Choose what to clear” in the Privacy & security panelEnsure all checkboxes are ticked and click the Clear buttonBrowser will clear all data; depending on the amount of data held, this may take a few moments.
