|MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: |

|High school diploma or equivalency certificate |

|Ability to relate well with people in person and on the phone |

|Possess ability to work under pressure and to meet multiple, concurrent deadlines |

|Maintain accuracy utilizing an electronic medical record and switchboard system |

|Demonstrate skills working with relevant computer programs; knowledge of office procedures; ability to type/enter data accurately with a |

|minimum typing/data entry rate of 40 words per minute |

|Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and compliance with agency’s liability carrier’s requirements may be required depending on job |

|assignment |

|GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain a current knowledge base of staff roles and functions, policies and procedures, forms and their application|

|and provide support to Four County Mental Health Center’s programs. Greet all patients accessing services and assist them in completing all |

|patient paperwork and accurately enter the data into the electronic medical record. Manage telephone system and reception of all patients and|

|guests. |

|ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: |

|Complete and monitor the registration process for patients. Obtain demographics, proofs and releases to be accurately entered into the |

|Electronic Health Record (E.H.R.). |

|Notify Billing staff regarding the financial and insurance verification process. |

|Check in patients at front desk to verify payment information, request/collect payments and update the E.H.R. as needed. |

|Working knowledge of clinician credentials and availability to schedule appointments ensuring patient or clinician needs are met and |

|optimizing reimbursement. |

|Utilize customer service approach to promptly and courteously answer and direct inquiries in person or by phone regarding Four County |

|services. |

|Complete other front desk duties as assigned including mail, monitoring equipment and forms and supplies. |

|Exhibit and promote decisions / behavior consistent with the Center’s established Vision, Mission, and Values. |

|OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: |

|Any deviations to the work schedule and all overtime must be approved in advance. |

|Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. |
