1. Select two of the individuals you heard from during our class visit to Street Roots, Sisters of the Road, and the Old Town district of Portland last week.

Identify the most thought-provoking idea, fact or issue you heard about – in your opinion -- from each individual and explain why it made the most impact on you. Write at least one short paragraph on each speaker and the issue that struck you.

2. Select one of the “Required Links” that you found interesting from last week’s handout from Joanne Zuhl, Editor of Street Roots. Write about your general impression of each web site’s content. Explain whether or not the content gave you any new ideas for today’s story selection process.
