Civics and Economics

Leaders in BusinessThe U.S. economy survives because of the circular flow between businesses, consumers, and the government. Businesses buy resources from individuals and create products to sell to consumers. Individuals, or groups of individuals, create businesses and sometimes those very same people go onto become Chief Executive Officers of the business. To learn more about business development and growth in the United States, you are going to write a biography about a Leader in Business. You will get to choose a businessperson, past or present, which you are interested in and write a 2-3-page paper about the life of the businessperson. Every student will select a different person in business and every choice must approved by Mr. Resnick.
