HTML and JAVASCRIPT FINAL PROJECT

HTML and JAVASCRIPT FINAL PROJECT

This project MUST have 3 pages

1 – main page – must be named “home_page.html”

2 – page containing a form/survey

3 – picture/information page

NOTE: All pages need to have a link to the other pages

-if the page is more than one screen full long, the page should have a “return to top” hyperlink.

First Task – Pick a topic. I would rather the topic not be sports related but it may be. For topic ideas check my website: The List

First Page – should introduce the reader to the topic of your website.

Requirements

o mouse RO – anywhere

o Links back to Home page and other page(s); return to top if needed

o This page should provide enough information about your topic so that the reader is fully informed or engaged

Second Page or Third Page

Either (not both) must have a Cycling Banner and either page must have a form – the banner and form can on the same page like in Survey.html

Requirements for either page

o cycling banner (4 or more pictures)

o form

o The questions on the form should include all 3 types of input types -- “text”, “radio” and “checkbox” format. These can be in any combinations however you should have at least 3 text boxes, 2 radio questions with 3 choices and 3 checkboxes. Don’t forget to “name” your questions and your form. You’ll need this in order for your “Clear Entries” button to work.

o There must be submit and clear entry buttons. The submit and clear entry buttons must be operational—means the user gets a message when such is completed. Use JS-12 and 13 as examples and make sure your script code is between your tags – before your tags. Why doesn’t my dang javascript work?

o You must have at least two questions that have to be validated – which means the person cannot submit the form w/o these questions being answered

o It must have some “javascript” from dynamic drive or other similar site.

Other requirements:

o Color scheme should be NOT be distracting but complementary to each other. The pages must contain some kind of background color/picture, changes in font size, color and typeface.

o There should be at least one list – on any page – either ordered or unordered.

o There should be dividers or a picture used as a divider

o There must be an example of each hyperlink -- within the page (return to top), to another document and out to the internet

o There must be a table

You may have more than the requirements listed, but not less than.

Rubric for Project is on the back side. How you spend your time will count towards your grade.
