The Canada Post Business Prices are provided as a reference tool containing products and services prices, and related general information. It must be used together with the Canada Postal Guide, which provides details on all product and service requirements (e.g., liability coverage conditions and exceptions). Consult the Canada Postal Guide at canadapost.ca/postalguide or call Customer Service at 1-866-607-6301.

Business prices

Business prices are available to business customers and to Canada Post Solutions for Small BusinessTM cardholders who electronically transmit their order using Electronic Shipping Tools, as well as to Solutions for Small Business cardholders who pay at a post office.

Contract prices (with an agreement)

For information on contract pricing (with an agreement), contact a Canada Post Sales representative.

Tax information

All prices and fees published are subject to the federal goods and services tax (GST), and to the provincial sales tax (PST, or QST in Quebec) or to the harmonized sales tax (HST), where applicable.

Tax rules relating to items mailed to foreign destinations and Canadian Forces Post Offices are as follows:

? not subject to sales taxes if the total price per transaction is $5.00 or more, ? if less than $5.00, subject to GST and QST if mailed from Quebec, HST if mailed from Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island,

Nova Scotia or Newfoundland and Labrador, and GST only if mailed from the other provinces and territories.

Tax rules relating to interprovincial (consumer) LettermailTM and (consumer) Regular ParcelTM are as follows:

? subject to GST only if mailed from Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia or the Territories, ? subject to GST only if mailed from Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia or Newfoundland and Labrador to

Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia or the territories; and the total price per transaction is $5.00 or more and taken at the counter at the time of payment; ? if the total is less than $5.00, HST if mailed from Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia or Newfoundland and Labrador; ? subject to GST only if mailed from Quebec and the total price per transaction is $5.00 or more and taken at the counter at the time of payment; ? if the total is less than $5.00, subject to GST and QST.

Tax rules relating to interprovincial (consumer) PriorityTM, (consumer) XpresspostTM and (commercial) parcels are as follows:

? subject to HST if mailed to Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia or Newfoundland and Labrador regardless of total price per transaction;

? subject to GST only if mailed to the other provinces and territories.

Tax rules relating to interprovincial (commercial) LettermailTM, where postal indicia are used, Canada Post Personalized MailTM, Canada Post Neighbourhood MailTM and Publications MailTM are as follows:

? subject to GST and QST if inducted in Quebec; ? subject to HST if inducted in Ontario, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia or Newfoundland and Labrador; ? subject to GST only if inducted in the other provinces and territories.

Prepaid products are flat-priced, postage-included items that can be purchased in advance for later use.

Prepaid envelopes allow customers to access postage-paid, flat-rated domestic delivery services. These envelopes are a time-saving and hassle-free solution for managing document shipments ? simply purchase the envelopes in advance so you always have them available.
