Return to Applicant processIn order to send a request back to the grantseeker for revision, the CAM chooses the ‘Return to applicant’ option from the Request Toolbox menu in the request. The CAM will need to type in any information s/he would like the grantseeker to know then click on ‘Return to Applicant’The email the grantseeker will receive will look like this example. The subject line will always be “Application Revision Required”, the text you entered will be at the end of the standard text (example in green text below). The link and invitation code will be unique for each particular grantseeker according to the application being used and the invitation code originally given by the CAM.Note: Once the request has been submitted for approval, the only way to then return it to the applicant is to ‘Reject’ the request first. Once you have rejected the request, you will then have the option to ‘Return to Applicant’.Subject: Application Revision RequiredPlease return to our web site to make revisions to your application: you cannot access the web site by clicking the above link, please copy and paste the entire URL into a browser.To access your application, please log in by entering your e-mail address and password, as well as the following invitation code: 1234ABCDAdditional Comments:Grantseeker name,Please revise this request and resubmit per our telephone conversation or per additional information included here.Thanks,CAM name=================================Microsoft Unlimited Potential the grantseeker clicks the link s/he will be directed to the Cybergrants website where email address, password, and invitation code are required.The grantseeker will then need to select an organization (typically only one is listed unless the grantseeker represents several different organizations applying for grants via the Cybergrants system) then click continue.At this point the grantseeker should see a request in ‘Revise’ status. The grantseeker should click on ‘Revise’ to start any changes to the application.Once completed, at the very end of the save and proceed steps the grantseeker should click on the ‘submit’ button. This will send the request back to the CAM for additional review. How to retrieve/edit a request that was sent back to a grantseeker:If you want to continue to edit an application without waiting for the NGO to resubmit it you can cancel the "Return to applicant". To do this, open the request record and scroll to the bottom of the Proposal sectionThere you will see the text you entered when you returned this request to the applicant and a "Cancel Return to Applicant" button. Click the "Cancel Return To Applicant" button to allow you to edit the application again. ?Note that the applicant will no longer see a "Revise" link or be able make any changes. ? If you would like them to be able to make changes, you can return the application to the applicant again.### ................
