O Lord our God, we confess that we do not reflect your glory. You bless us so generously, but we deny your blessing to others. You provide for us so richly, but we are slow to share your gifts. Forgive us; restore and reorder our lives by the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, so that we may proclaim with gratitude the great abundance of your love, to the glory of your holy name.

*Affirmation of Faith Jim Thompson

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and

earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through Him all things were made. For us and for our salvation He came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; He suffered death and was buried. On the third day He rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and is seated on the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen. The Nicene Creed

*Hymn No. 460 Let Us Break Bread Together

THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION

The Invitation

The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper is Christ’s gift to His church. This boundless gift is offered without regard to denominational affiliation, church membership, or personal merit. Communion is a gift of grace whereby through symbolic elements of bread and fruit of the vine, we are mystically united with the presence of Christ. Jesus invites all who desire a living relationship with Him to dine at his table.

Gluten-free bread is available for those desiring it. Communicants should signal their server and it will be brought to the communicant.

Hymn Lord, Be Glorified – remain seated

In your world, Lord, be glorified, be glorified. In your world, Lord, be glorified today.

Words of Institution

Communion Prayer

Hymn Lord, Be Glorified – remain seated

In your church, Lord, be glorified, be glorified. In your church, Lord, be glorified today.

Serving of the Bread and Cup

Hymn Lord, Be Glorified – remain seated

In my life, Lord, be glorified, be glorified. In my life, Lord, be glorified today.

Closing Prayer and The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

*Hymn No. 750 Peace like a River

GO IN GOD’S NAME – BEGINNING OF MISSION

*Pastoral Benediction Max Reddick

*Congregational Benediction May the grace of Christ, our Savior, and the love of God, our Father, and the fellowship of the Spirit be with us. May the grace of Christ, our Savior, and the love of God, our Father, and the fellowship of the Spirit be with us. Forever and ever, forevermore. Amen.
