Trust in him at all time, O people; pour pit your hearts before God, our refuge.

God alone is my rock and my salvation. I shall not be shaken.

Reflective Interlude

A TIME FOR PRAISE AND PRAYER

Praise Songs: #602 "I Have Decided to Follow Jesus" vs 4, 1

Will you decide now to follow Jesus? (repeat 2 times)

No turning back, no turning back.

I have decided to follow Jesus. (repeat two times)

No turning back, no turning back.

Call to Confession

Prayer of Confession

Loving God, we confess to you that we have been careless in our care of creation. We have been reluctant to speak your words of grace to our neighbors. We have judged others, rather than forgive them. We have thought of ourselves, ignoring needs around us. Forgive us. Give us eyes to see through the love of Jesus on the cross. Teach us to turn our hearts toward you, learning to live among others in your grace, mercy, and love. Amen.

Presentation of Offering #170 “Give Thanks”

Give Thanks with a grateful heart, give thanks to the Holy One;

Give thanks because He's given Jesus Christ, His Son. (repeat)

And now, let the weak say "I am strong;" let the poor say, "I am rich;"

because of what the Lord has done for us. (repeat) "Give Thanks."

Prayer of Offering Dedication (In Unison)

Generous God, your bounty is endless, and you provide everything we need for life, and to do the ministry to which you call us. We praise your abundance, which goes beyond whatever we could ask for. Grant tha these gifts, tokens of our gratitude for all our blessings, be used in the healing of your world, as a witness to the love you bear for all peoples. Amen.

Moment for Reflection

Closing Hymn #433 "Rise Up, I Church of God" vs 1, 3

Rise up, O Church of God! Have done with lesser things;

GIve heart and mind and soul and strength to serve the King of kings.

Rise up, O sons of God! The Church for you doth wati;

Her strength unequal to her task, Rise up, and make her great!

Commission and Blessing

May the words of our mouths proclaim God's love. May the meditaitons of our hearts be acceptable to God.

We go forward as praying, witnessing people. What we do and say will change our world.

The Spirit of God accompanies us on our journey. We are anointed for the sharing of God news.

In purity of heart, we seek to serve. In quiet condifencem we dare to change and grow. Amen.

Benediction

Choral Benediction “Live Your Love”

Live your love, give your grace, let every breath be an offering of praise.

Pass your peace, share your song, trust in the Lord all your days.

Thought for the day: God does not belong to us that we may hide fivine love. We belong to God, and are called to share the good news.
