The hearing is being conducted pursuant to Section 570.486, Subpart I of the CFR and in compliance with the requirements of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended.

At the hearing the Village will describe types of grant assistance available from the NYS Office of Community Renewal and will seek comments and suggestions from the public as to proposed uses of Community Development Block Grant funds. The types of activities that may be undertaken with Community Development Block Grant program funds include acquisition and disposition of real property, public facilities and improvements, clearance activities, public services, payment of non-federal share of another federal program, removal of architectural barriers, relocation, rehabilitation and preservation activities, economic

Alton W. Hall, age 87, of Grahamsville, died Sunday, June 20th. FOR INFO: 845434-7363.

Madeline B. Conway

March 7, 1934 ~ April 10, 2021

Rock Hill, NY

On Saturday, April 10th, 2021, an angel was called back to heaven as Madeline B. Conway, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 87.

Madeline was born on March 7th, 1934 in New York City to John Bernius and Madeline King. She was married to William J. Conway, and they went on to raise two sons, William "Chuck" and Michael, and one daughter, Patricia. She worked for various news publications during her working years, and she was also a member of the Rock Hill Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary for a number of years. In her later years she and her husband moved to Lake Wales, FL where they found their home at the Saddlebag Lake Resort community. There she was an active member of the community, serv- Madeline B. Conway ing as the MC at most events and running numerous community programs.

Madeline was the life of the party and always knew how to make her presence known anywhere she went. She lit up every room she walked into with her bold and beautiful personality. She had an uncanny ability to make friends with anyone almost everywhere she went. Not only would she make new friends, they then would know everything about her children and grandchildren as she had so much pride for her family and wanted everyone to know it. She was known for her ability to make everyone smile, no matter the setting.

Her passing will certainly leave a void in our lives here, however, because of her unwavering faith in God our family takes comfort in knowing that she is now resting with her late husband, William Conway Sr., and her two predeceased children, William "Chuck" Conway Jr. and Patricia Vickers, as well as all of her departed relatives and friends. In honor of Madeline B. Conway, we love you forever, may you rest in peace my darling.

She is survived by her son, Michael Conway Sr., daughterin-law, Kathryn Conway; grandchildren: Michael Conway, Daniel Jacobs, Samantha Morales, Christopher Conway, James Conway and Amy Conway, and great-grandchildren: Arianna, Mikey, Bella, Hezekiah and Jack.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 26 at 10:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 180 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with Fr. Peter Madori officiating. Interment of her ashes will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Monticello. A reception will follow at Mike's house in Rock Hill.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Rock Hill Volunteer Fire Dept. PO Box 116, Rock Hill, NY 12775. donate

Arrangements are under the direction of the VanInwegenKenny, Inc. Funeral Home of Monticello. For additional information or to send an online condolence, please visit .

Judy Ann Melchick

May 11, 1946 ~ June 11, 2021

Judy Ann Melchick (Nee: Judy Ann Malone), born May 11, 1946 in Peakville, NY passed peacefully, in her home, with family members surrounding her on June 11, 2021. Judy was a woman of extraordinary faith and now sits at the right hand of God.

Judy was a devoted and loving wife to her husband, John Melchick. She was a dedicated parent and friend to her three children: Mary, Christopher, and John Melchick; and a loving grandmother to her four grandsons: James and Joseph VanDerMark and John and Austin Melchick.

Judy had the best friend anyone could ask for, her sister, Linda Young. The bond they shared was unbreakable. The secrets, love, and laughter they shared will carry on in Linda.

Judy had a caring heart, a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen when needed.

She was proud of her accomplishments in life. She started work at Peck's Market doing stock and progressed to Front End Manager.

Judy's sense of humor was huge!! Her laughter lives on in those who love her.

Judy was a great supporter of all branches of the US Military. She initiated several fundraisers and took great pride in doing so.

Judy will be loved and missed by all that had the honor of knowing her. She lives on in all the lives she touched.

Thank you for all your condolences and prayers through this difficult time.
